ABOUT ME

My interest in plants started as a child. I would spend hours in the garden with the flowers, making potions and being enthralled by their intoxicating scents and beauty.

As a teenager, I started buying books on herbal medicine and visiting my local health food shop to buy dried herbs and teas. Mixing them, studying them, learning about their healing properties. In my 20's I started gardening and have been learning and deepening my connection ever since.

All of this led me to study a HERBAL MEDICINE DIPLOMA and a subsequent HOMEOPATHY DEGREE, prescribing to friends, family and clients for over 2 decades.

Over the years, I have diversified, and studied and worked with various healing modalities including

  • reflexology

  • massage

  • breathwork

  • meditation

  • sound healing

  • experiential healing

  • intuitive guidance talking therapy

However, the plants have always called me back to them and have always been one of my main focuses, incorporating natural plant medicines into all my other modalities.

When I started teaching foraging, it became clear that that is truly where my passion lies. Teaching others about all that nature has to offer and helping them to gain that connection to nature, becoming empowered by harvesting their own medicines and food.

As my foraging business grew, so did my offering. I started holding workshops, privately and at festivals and events, to teach people how to preserve and use the plants that they have harvested.

My love and passion for nature, and helping others, then led to me visiting clients' gardens and showing them what they already have growing, often in the form of "weeds", and teaching them how to harness the medicinal and nutritional properties of their plants to improve their health and daily lives, and what else they can plant to suit their needs. Offering a bespoke service where the initial consultation is about their medicinal and nutritional needs, so that their garden serves them as a haven of medicine and nutritious food. Followed by a garden design incorporating medicinal gardens, vegetable beds and food forests, dependent on their needs and available space.

This all came together as what you see today, Forage Grow Create. A business where I share with you over 30 years of knowledge and wisdom, grounded in nature, to enable you to learn how to feed and treat your family from your own outdoor space, and the wild nature around you, enabling you to bask in the joy and peace that nature brings. Not only is your garden and being in nature good for your PHYSICAL HEALTH, but it works magic on your MENTAL HEALTH too.
